Prelude

Welcoming the Light of Christ and inviting the neighborhood to worship.

Welcome and Announcements- Pastor Jorge and Chase

*Call to Worship – Led by Chase Van Weerdhuizen
We come, with open hearts, to encounter the God who walks with His people.
We gather to listen, to sing, and to be transformed.
The One who formed the earth and breathed life into our souls calls us to
awaken.
W
e awaken to the mystery of God’s presence in the everyday and sacred.
God invites us to build community, embrace justice, and care for creation.
We respond with love, with faith, and with action.
In this time of transition and renewal, we affirm that the Spirit never leaves us,
We walk with confidence, knowing that God is already present where we have yet to arrive.
May this moment be altar and home, a place of gathering and sending forth.
We worship God with gratitude and hope. Come, Lord Jesus!

Our Community and World
And now, we pray in the way that Jesus taught us to pray. Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Message: “Lord, Teach Us to Pray”

*Prayer of Confession- All
Beloved Lord,
We come with restless hearts, confessing that we often do not know how to pray as we should.
Forgive us when our words are empty,
Teach us to pray not only with words, but with acts of justice, gestures of compassion, and silence that waits for your presence.
Open our eyes to see the sacred in the everyday, and let each breath be a prayer toward you. Amen.

*Pastoral Benediction:
May the God who listens with love walk beside you on the journey, strengthen your soul,
and inspire prayer in every step you take.
Go in peace, with faith and with joy, knowing that the Spirit goes with you. Amen.

Song of Blessing: “Halle Halle Hallelujah” TFWS 2026

*Prayer of Confession – All
Lord, we confess that we have often placed our hope in things that do not last. We have turned away from You, forgetting that we have already been rescued by Christ. Forgive us for not living as children of Your kingdom, for not bearing fruit, for letting fear dim our faith. Today we return to You, and we ask You to renew in us the hope that comes from the gospel. Thank you for loving us and sustaining us. In Jesus, our living hope, Amen

*Pastoral Benediction:  May the wind of the Spirit guide you, may the fire of his love illuminate you, may the grace of God sustain you, now and always. Go in peace, and may your voice always be one of welcome.  Amen
