We have held on to grudges as if they were treasures, and resisted letting go of what doesn’t give life. But you call us to put on compassion, to lay down pride and anger, and to place our hearts where you dwell. Forgive us, Lord. Renew us with your Spirit, and teach us to seek what is eternal. Amen. Great Thanksgiving The Lord be with you. And also, with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. (Over.) Demos gracias al Senor Nuestro Dios. It is right to give thanks and praise. And so, with your people on earth and all the company of heaven, We praise your name and join their unending hymn. Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. And so, in remembrance of these, your mighty acts in Jesus Christ, we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgivings, a holy and living sacrifice, in union with Christ’s offering for us, As we proclaim the mystery of faith. Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again. --Pastor continues with the blessing of the elements. All: The Lords Prayer: Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name . . .
