I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will come again to judge the living and the dead. Forgive what our lips tremble to name, and what our hearts can no longer bear. Through the cross, set us free from a past that we cannot change. Through the resurrection, open to us a future in which we can be changed. Grant us grace to grow more and more in your likeness and image, through Jesus Christ, the light of the world. Amen. Hear the good news; Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. That proves God’s love for us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. Thanks be to God! Bread and Cup The Lord be with you And also with you. Let us give thanks using the words Jesus gave us: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be they name.
