FRUITLAND UMC:
Sunday School Meeting – September 1st at 4:30 pm in the coffee area. This
meeting is for parents, teachers, and anyone interested in helping with Sunday
School this year. Ideally we would like to have a Nursery class, Elementary grade
class, an Explore the Bible class (5th-6th grade), and a Youth Excursion class.

PAYETTE UMC:
Ike and Ken Frazier’s children are hosting a celebration of life open house in Ike
and Ken’s honor on Sunday, September 5th from 1-5 pm at the clubhouse at
Little Country Village in Payette.

Bob Shannon passed away Wednesday. His service will be held at Payette UMC.
The details are being arranged.

Wednesday, September 1, at 4:30 in the coffee area; There will be a meeting of Sunday School parents and anyone who is interested in helping with Sunday School this year. It’s hard to tell what upcoming months will be like, with pandemic regulations, etc. but we owe it to our kids to get organized and plan as best we can! Altar flowers today are in celebration of Bill and Roxie Tolbert’s move to Idaho 2 years ago.

The United Methodist Women are meeting on Saturday, August 21 at 10:00 am. All women in the church are invited to attend.

Payette UMC and Fruitland UMC will have a combined service held at the Payette church on August 29th at 10:00 am. The address is 502 N 11th St, Payette, Lunch will be provided.

Socks and Undies for Little Grizzlies – During the month of August, the United Methodist Women will continue to collect small size socks and undies for the Little Grizzlies in the Fruitland Elementary School. Thank you for the donations.

Circle of Friends Preschool will open on September 8th.

Preschool Supply Boxes: You have the opportunity to provide a supply box (crayons, markers, pencils, erasers, scissors, glue) for a student in our preschool. $10 each. This contribution goes straight to Holly, as she has already purchased the supplies on sale.

These will be used when there are ‘accidents’ or ‘emergencies’ with children in the Fruitland School Kindergarten building. Needed are little kids socks sizes S or M and boys briefs or girls panties sizes 4,6,8,10 or S & M. Anyone wanting to help can put socks or undies in the basket on the steps at the back of the sanctuary.
