Heavenly Father, we praise you for this congregation’s oh-so-human witness to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. We praise you for the halting yet certain way we have been worn into a measure of holiness and grace by our prayers and tears, songs and laughter, celebrations and sorrows, disputes and reconciliations. We praise you that when we gather together in your name, you are here to disturb and renew us. In your graceful company we walk on and confidently pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
